“ADAPTATION OF THE MUNICIPAL PORT FUND OF EAST MANI TO THE NEW SCHENGEN ENTRY-EXIT SYSTEM”

 

The Port of Gythio, after the completion of its expansion projects in 2017, is one of the most important ports in the Peloponnese Region. Its proximity to the Caves of Diros and the castle of Mystras have already included it in the fixed destinations for the cruise while it is also used by cargo ships for the handling of mainly agricultural products.

The Municipal Port Fund of East Mani, recognizing the experience and knowledge of our company executives and issues related to the Schengen Agreement, assigned to our company in addition to supporting the implementation of the ISPS Code and the implementation of the Entry-Exit System ( EES) at the Maritime Border Crossing Point (BCP) of Eastern Mani in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2017/2226.
