Special Seminar on Cruise Development & Implementation of Regulatory Frameworks for Greek Ports and Destinations

On February 5 & 6, the Special Seminar on Cruise Development & Implementation of Regulatory Frameworks for Greek Ports and Destinations was held in Thessaloniki, organized by the EXANTAS Port Training Institute, in collaboration with NEXT PLUS and Five Senses Consulting & Development.

Mr Constas Cavdas,  Executive Manager of Next Plus and speaker on the second day of the seminar, presented topics focusing on the certified refresher training of Port Facility Security Officers (PFSOs), along with an overview of the new Entry/Exit System (EES) at Schengen Border Crossing Points, as well as an update on the new legislation (Law 5236/2025) concerning the protection of critical entities, which also includes ports.
